This painting marked the beginning of a new direction in my artwork. Inspired by a photograph I took while exploring Fort Wayne in Detroit, I was captivated by the unusual angles, the broken clawfoot tub, and the challenge of capturing the window's glow and reflections using only four oil colors: black, white, red, and blue.
